IPCONNEX

Windows · Microsoft 365 · Servers · IT support

IT that supports your working day.

A new employee needs access. A computer needs replacing. Updates are waiting. IPCONNEX helps businesses in Montreal manage the devices, accounts and servers their teams rely on.

A defined project or ongoing support, with responsibilities agreed from the start.

A practical starting point

Four areas worth reviewing.

  • Devices

Which computers need attention or replacement?

  • Access

Who needs access, and which accounts should be removed?

  • Updates

What needs updating, and when can the work happen?

  • Recovery

What is backed up, and when was a restore last tested?

Where we can help

The tools your team uses. The upkeep they need.

Keep the useful parts of your setup. Plan the changes around your applications, your people and the time available for maintenance.

Windows workstations

Plan Windows 11 deployments, check device and application compatibility, and prepare user profiles and settings. Test the setup before a wider rollout.

Example use caseReplace a group of ageing computers in stages, with a plan for moving files and checking key applications.

Microsoft 365

Review licences, migrate email and files, and manage user access. Configure the security and device-management features available with your chosen plans.

Example use casePrepare a new employee’s account, mailbox and permissions, then document what changes when someone leaves.

Servers & business systems

Size, deploy and maintain on-site, virtual or hybrid server environments. Include storage, dependencies and recovery requirements in the project discussion.

Example use caseReview a file server’s capacity and access permissions before planning a replacement or migration.

Ongoing IT support

Organize user assistance, monitoring and maintenance around an agreed service scope. Clarify how issues are reported, prioritized and escalated.

Example use caseSet a maintenance schedule and identify who receives alerts and handles follow-up.

How we approach the work

Understand the setup. Plan the change.

A system change affects the people using it. Agree on the priorities, the maintenance window and the support arrangements before work starts.

  1. Review the environment

Identify devices, accounts, servers and recurring issues. Review existing documentation and clarify what your team or current provider already manages.

  2. Agree on the priorities

Define the work, dependencies and budget. Plan testing, communications and recovery steps for changes that could interrupt the business.

  3. Implement & follow through

Carry out the agreed work, check key tasks with users and update the documentation. Confirm who handles ongoing maintenance and support.

Before you decide

A clearer picture of the work.

Can you help us move to Windows 11?

Yes. We assess devices, applications and peripherals before planning the rollout. Some computers may need replacement. The migration plan should cover user files, settings, backups, testing and the time needed for the change.

Which Microsoft 365 plan should we choose?

Start with what each user needs: email, browser or desktop applications, collaboration, security and device management. Features and licensing requirements differ by plan. We review those needs and confirm current pricing and terms in the proposal.

Are backups and recovery included?

They need an explicit scope. We review what needs protection, the backup systems already in place and your recovery priorities. Coverage, retention, restore testing and responsibilities should be agreed in the project or service proposal.

Can you work with our internal IT team or current provider?

Yes. We can discuss a defined project or a shared-support arrangement. Access, documentation, responsibilities and escalation contacts need to be clear before work begins.

Does monitoring mean someone responds around the clock?

Monitoring coverage and human response coverage are separate parts of a service agreement. Confirm the hours, response targets, escalation process and any on-site work in your proposal. Monitoring can help identify problems; it cannot guarantee that every interruption will be prevented.

What should we share in the first conversation?

Tell us how many people and locations you support, what systems you use and what is causing difficulty. Mention a planned move, renewal or deadline if relevant. Do not send passwords, recovery codes or confidential business data through the enquiry form.

The next step

What needs attention in your IT setup?

Tell us about a recurring issue or an upcoming change. We can discuss a focused project, ongoing support or help alongside your existing team.
