Privacy Policy
Effective September 29, 2026
1. Who we are
IPCONNEX Services Inc. provides IT services to businesses. Our head office is at 1018 - 1249 Rue du Sussex, Montréal, QC H3H 2A1, Canada. Omar El-Mohri is responsible for privacy. Contact him at admin@ipconnex.com or 514-360-9191.
2. Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect the contact name, business name, email address, phone number and message you provide. If you request security-assessment follow-up, your contact details, job title, score, risk level and category results are sent to our ERPNext CRM; you can view results without sending contact details. Portal registration creates a user account and a customer record with the name, business name and email you provide; account use also involves authentication, support tickets and service records. For a business order, we collect the business and contact names, email, phone, purchase-order reference if supplied, items, billing and shipping addresses, delivery preference and payment-related identifiers needed to process the order. Our servers also receive technical and security logs.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to answer enquiries, follow up on requested assessments, operate accounts and support, prepare and fulfil business orders, protect our systems and meet legal obligations. We use optional analytics to understand public-page use only when you enable it. Live chat loads only when you enable it.
4. Service providers and location
Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and device signals and a verification token to protect forms; it does not receive the form entries through the Turnstile integration. If enabled, Umami Cloud receives page URL, title, referrer, language, screen and browser/device information, and derives approximate location from the request IP address. If enabled, Tawk.to can receive IP-derived location, browser/device information, chat messages and contact details supplied in chat. ERPNext receives the website lead, account, support and applicable business-order information described above. When payment features apply, Stripe processes payment-method and transaction information; the website uses payment identifiers and card summary details rather than storing full card numbers in its order files. Email delivery and hosting providers may also process relevant data. Provider processing locations, retention and account settings still require verification; some processing may occur outside Quebec or Canada.
5. Cookies and privacy choices
Essential storage supports site operation, privacy choices and account sessions. On eligible public pages, optional Umami analytics and Tawk live chat stay off until you choose them. You can reject, customize or accept these categories and change your choice through Privacy settings in the footer. Optional scripts are excluded from the portal, store, contact and security-assessment pages. Declining optional tools does not prevent you from using essential site features.
6. Portal and orders
Portal and order records may include information about a business contact, support request, invoice, delivery or payment transaction. Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers or unnecessary sensitive information in free-text fields or chat. Payment and order handling are governed by the applicable order documents and provider terms.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for the service, contract, security and legal purposes that apply to each record, then delete or anonymize it when no longer required. Retention periods differ across CRM, portal, orders, provider logs and backups; our Privacy Officer can provide the current period for a specific record. We use HTTPS and access controls and review our safeguards.
8. Your rights and requests
You may ask for access to or correction of your information, withdraw consent where applicable, ask about deletion or portability where applicable, or raise a concern. We may need to verify your identity and may have to retain information where the law or an ongoing contract requires it. Contact Omar El-Mohri at admin@ipconnex.com.
9. Incidents and changes
Report a suspected privacy incident to admin@ipconnex.com. We assess incidents and notify affected people and authorities when required. We update this policy when our practices change and show the effective date of the published version.
