Managed IT · Support · Maintenance · Coordination
Give everyday IT a clear point of contact.
When an account stops working or a recurring issue slows your team down, knowing who handles it matters. IPCONNEX helps businesses across Canada organize IT support, maintenance and supplier follow-up.
Support for your team, or alongside your internal IT staff. Coverage and responsibilities are agreed before service begins.
How a request moves forward
From issue to follow-through.
Report the issue
Describe what is affected, who cannot work and when it started.
Set the priority
Assess the business impact and assign the next action within the agreed scope.
Follow through
Communicate progress, check the result and record any remaining work.
Where we can help
Support today. Keep up with the upkeep.
Bring day-to-day support and recurring maintenance into one agreed plan. Define what IPCONNEX handles, what stays with your team and when another supplier needs to be involved.
Monitoring & alert follow-up
Monitor the agreed servers, workstations and network equipment. Define which alerts need attention and who follows up, so monitoring has a clear owner.
Example situationA storage-capacity alert is reviewed and the next action is assigned before more space is needed.
Help desk support
Give users an agreed way to report account, device and application issues. Prioritize requests by impact and coordinate remote or on-site assistance within your coverage.
Example situationAn employee cannot access a shared folder. The request identifies the affected account and resource so the right checks can begin.
Patches & maintenance
Plan operating-system and application updates around compatibility and maintenance windows. Track exceptions and follow-up work rather than treating every update as automatic.
Example situationSchedule a workstation update, check an essential application afterward and record any device that needs a separate intervention.
Explore security servicesSupplier coordination
Coordinate technical follow-up with your internet, hardware and software providers where authorized. Keep responsibilities and next steps visible when several suppliers are involved.
Example situationFor a connectivity problem, identify what belongs to the office network and what requires the internet provider’s investigation.

Starting the service
Agree on the scope. Make the handover clear.
A useful support relationship starts with access, documentation and ownership. The transition plan should reflect your environment and existing commitments.
Understand the environment
Review your users, devices, locations, applications and recurring difficulties. Identify current suppliers, internal responsibilities and any gaps in documentation.
Define coverage & transition
Agree on service hours, response targets, exclusions and costs. Plan authorized access, supplier handover and the checks needed before support starts.
Support, maintain & review
Handle agreed requests and maintenance. Review recurring issues, outstanding work and upcoming changes together, with priorities and responsibilities documented.
Before you decide
Know what your agreement covers.
What is included in managed IT services?
The proposal defines the users, devices, locations and services covered. We can discuss monitoring, help desk support, patching and supplier coordination. Microsoft 365 administration, security tools, backups, recovery testing and on-site work must be listed explicitly if required; they are not automatically included in every agreement.
How quickly will someone respond?
Response targets depend on the issue’s priority and the agreed service hours. Monitoring hours and human response hours are separate. Confirm acknowledgement targets, escalation contacts and any after-hours arrangements in your proposal. An acknowledgement is not the same as a resolution.
Can you work alongside our internal IT person?
Yes. A shared-support arrangement can leave some work with your team and assign specific services to IPCONNEX. Document who owns user requests, administrator access, maintenance, suppliers and escalations so work is neither duplicated nor left unassigned.
How does switching from another provider work?
We plan the transition around your current agreement, authorized access, documentation and supplier cooperation. Confirm the handover tasks, responsibilities and start date before changing access or ending existing coverage. Timing depends on the environment and the work required.
How are ongoing services quoted?
The proposal reflects your users, devices, locations, service hours and required support. It distinguishes recurring services from onboarding, projects, licences, equipment and other separately quoted work. We clarify those boundaries before service begins; no standard package needs to be selected on this page.
Can we start with a conversation about our needs?
Yes. Tell us your team size, locations, current support arrangement and the problems you want to address. Mention any renewal or transition deadline. Use the enquiry form for this initial discussion, not for urgent support under an existing agreement. Do not include passwords, recovery codes or confidential records.
What is a managed service provider?
A managed service provider takes ongoing responsibility for agreed parts of your IT — monitoring, support requests, maintenance and supplier coordination — for a recurring fee, instead of being called in per incident. What is covered, the hours and the response targets are defined in the agreement rather than assumed.
What is the difference between managed IT services and break-fix support?
Break-fix is billed per incident, after something stops working. Managed services are a recurring arrangement that includes monitoring and maintenance intended to reduce how often that happens. Neither is automatically cheaper — it depends on how many incidents you have and what downtime costs you.
The next step
What does your team need from IT support?
Tell us what works today and where requests or maintenance fall through the cracks. We can discuss ongoing support or a shared arrangement with your team.
Start with your needs. Service scope, response arrangements and costs are confirmed in your proposal.
